The Thickening Atmosphere

The hypothesis is that man-made Global Warming is caused by the CO2 from our cars and industries. This production of CO2 is thickening the atmosphere and keeping the heat in and giving us a "greenhouse" effect. This "greenhouse" effect is causing the earth to warm by keeping the heat in.

If CO2 is thickening the atmosphere, then how much is there?

In percent by volume at the temperature of 15°C and the pressure of 101325 Pa, air is composed of 78% nitrogen Air Cart and 21% oxygen which gives us 99% of the composition. The next largest amount of gas is argon with 0.9%. Now we are up to 99.9% of the composition of air.

What is the carbon dioxide percentage? CO2 is 0.03% of the atmosphere. That is 3/100ths of 1% of air. The next question to ask is how much is CO2 increasing and thickening the atmosphere? The answer is 1 part per million per year. In percentage terms: 0.000001%. I didn't know we could make measurements that small, but modern technology is pretty incredible.

One question you might like to ask is if the atmosphere is thickening, then wouldn't a thicker atmosphere prevent the sun's rays from reaching the earth. If the sun's rays can't reach the earth, it wouldn't warm it as much. The earth would become cooler. You would have to ask this question, because the global warming alarmists aren't asking it and neither are the reporters. But you wouldn't be able to find the answer anywhere.
